A new report denied that there was a delay in the development of the iPhone Fold, confirming that Apple is still on schedule for the planned launch in September. A previous report had indicated problems during the engineering testing phase that may lead to the device being postponed for several months.
Mark Gurman of Bloomberg, citing informed sources, explained that the development of the foldable phone is proceeding as planned, with it expected to be unveiled alongside the iPhone 18 Pro. He also indicated that the device may be available for sale during the same period or shortly after.

However, initial quantities are expected to be limited due to the complexity of the manufacturing process for the foldable screen and other components such as the 3D-printed hinge.
The report confirmed that the timetable may change later, especially since production has not yet entered the full expansion phase.
