Gigabyte has silently listed a new version of its Brix mini-computer, which is based on the Panther Lake architecture, on its official website. Although the company has not officially announced this device yet, the initial page confirms that this computer is equipped with processors up to the Core Ultra 9 386H, which is considered one of the most powerful processors in this series to provide outstanding performance, with remarkable support for upgrading random memory with huge capacities that meet the needs of professional users.

This flagship processor lacks the integrated Arc B390 graphics processing unit, which is highly capable in this series. Instead, the company relies on an integrated Xe3 graphics unit that includes only 4 cores to handle display tasks, but the most interesting point in this mini-computer lies in its internal design, which allows users to replace and upgrade random memory quite easily and without any technical complications to obtain performance that suits their changing requirements.

The internal device contains two slots dedicated to random memory, which can be provided with a total capacity of up to 128 GB of very fast DDR5 type. Regarding internal storage options, this mini-computer provides two M.2 slots for connecting solid state drives. The first slot supports the ultra-fast PCIe Gen5x4 technology, while the second slot relies on Gen4x4 technology to provide a wide and responsive storage space for opening applications and transferring large files.

The technical specifications sheet highlights an excellent and diverse set of communication ports, including two USB4 ports that can be used with external accessories such as the UGREEN base, which supports a speed of 40 gigabits per second and is available at a price of $169.99. The device also includes three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that supports power delivery, and a USB 2.0 Type-A port, in addition to two HDMI ports, an RJ45 port for networks, and a 3.5 mm audio jack to connect all basic accessories.

Other notable features mentioned on the initial page include support for the latest WiFi 7 technology for fast wireless connectivity and a 2.5GbE LAN port integrated within an ultra-slim and sleek body. This mini computer, which bears the model number GB-BRU9-386H, is still not available for direct purchase at this moment, and GIGABYTE has not shared any official details about expected prices or availability dates in global markets, but this important information is expected to appear soon.
