GameMT’s latest portable gaming device relies on a modular control pad that can be magnetically attached to a monitor unit or phone, making the E5 ModX more versatile and flexible than most competing devices on the market. At first glance, the device appears like a traditional portable gaming device in a wide format, but the exceptional feature lies in its innovative modular design that allows the screen to be separated from the console with ease.

This design allows the control panel to be magnetically attached to phones such as the iPhone 17 from Apple, which is available at a price of 777 US dollars, in order to enjoy phone games or access game streaming services. The device’s screen unit contains economical hardware based on the Helio P60 processor from MediaTek, which was released in 2018, and provides sufficient performance to run old classic games smoothly, such as those developed for Nintendo portable systems.

The controller provides two analog stick buttons and four shoulder buttons to provide all the controls necessary to play modern games that can be accessed via streaming services. The device comes with a random memory capacity of 3 GB, with options for storage space of 32 GB or 64 GB, and the screen supports a display resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels, with an expected size of about 5 inches based on the model name, while the company has not yet confirmed any official details about the launch date or the expected price of the device.
