Google is preparing to unveil the Pixel 10a on February 18, and has already officially reviewed the phone’s design before launch, although its features were not entirely a secret due to previous leaks. However, the company is yet to announce the full specifications sheet.

Contrary to what some rumors suggested about it being just the Pixel 9a in different colors, a new report reveals noticeable differences between the two phones.

According to dealer data obtained by the German website WinFuture, the Pixel 10a will come with Gorilla Glass 7i protection glass instead of Gorilla Glass 3, and it will also get Bluetooth 6 instead of Bluetooth 5.4.

Moreover, the level of wired charging will increase to 45 watts compared to 23 watts in the previous generation. However, there is no confirmed information about wireless charging support, although it was available on the Pixel 9a, which leaves two possibilities: either Google removed it, or it was not mentioned in the leaked data.

Although the battery capacity remains at 5,100 mAh, the weight of the phone decreases to 183 grams, that is, three grams lighter than its predecessor. The dimensions also change slightly to 153.9 x 73 x 9 mm instead of 154.7 x 73.3 x 8.9 mm.

As for the rest of the specifications, they remain unchanged. The phone runs on the same Tensor G4 processor, with 8 GB of LPDDR5X memory and 128 or 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage options.

The phone also comes with a 6.3-inch P-OLED screen with a resolution of 2424 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, with a fingerprint sensor built under the screen.

Regarding cameras, the phone includes a 48-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel wide lens, in addition to a 13-megapixel front camera.

It also has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, and runs Android 16 straight out of the box, with a promise of system and security updates for seven years.

The phone is available in Obsidian (black), Fog (white/green), Lavender (blue/purple), and Berry (red/pink) colors.
