Ayaneo continues to work on several new devices, and the Pocket Play phone, inspired by the design of the Xperia Play, is one of the most notable projects. The phone falls within the Remake series, and was first revealed in December 2025, before the company gradually began sharing its technical details.

Recently, Ayaneo revealed additional information about the phone, including the availability of three colors at launch. After previously displaying black and white colors, the company has officially confirmed the addition of an elegant red color to the available options.

The company also explained that Pocket Play relies on an X-axis 0815 linear vibration motor, providing four vibration modes, with the aim of providing a more immersive tactile experience while playing.

Regarding performance, the phone runs on the Dimensity 9300 processor, a choice that was not met with much enthusiasm, but Ayaneo confirmed that it is paired with an air cooling system dedicated to high performance, with a design that limits the transfer of heat to the grip areas to ensure user comfort during long gaming sessions.

At the level of ports and connectivity, the phone is equipped with a USB-C port with the USB 3.2 standard with DisplayPort 1.4 support, in addition to support for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5 and the presence of a SIM card. The phone also allows expansion of storage space via a dedicated microSD port.

As for the previously revealed specifications, they include a 6.8-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. The phone also features sliding control buttons with touchpads that can be used as virtual joysticks.

However, Ayaneo has not yet announced the official launch date or price of the phone, but these details will be revealed in the near future.
