Asus ProArt Mouse MD301 has been launched in China. With a launch price of CNY 599, which is about $86.8, this wireless mouse stands as an affordable competitor to the Logitech MX Master 4. The global launch timeline remains unclear.
Asus introduced a new competitor to the Logitech MX Master 4 at CES 2026, the ProArt Mouse MD301. The brand recently previewed the wireless mouse again, and now it is available for purchase in China.
With the launch offer applied, the ProArt MD301 is currently available for purchase at a price of CNY 599, approximately $86.8. This price is less expensive than what the MX Master 4 usually sells for in the Chinese market, which is 899 Chinese yuan, or about $130 ($120 on Amazon), and compared to the latest production mouse from Logitech, the Asus option is lighter.
As mentioned in the spec sheet, the ProArt MD301 weighs around 99.7 grams, while the Logitech MX Master 4 weighs around 150 grams. This lightweight design, combined with the ergonomic shape, is said to allow the wireless mouse to fit naturally in the hands and provide a comfortable grip.
While Asus’ new wireless mouse is lighter, it has a larger battery inside. More specifically, it packs an 800mAh battery, which promises up to 180 days of runtime. In comparison, the MX Master 4 has a 650 mAh battery, with a maximum rated run time of 70 days.
Another notable feature of the ProArt MD301 is that it has interchangeable keys. The Push-Fit sockets on the ProArt Mouse MD301 support both micro and optical switches. Asus says the built-in keys are rated for up to 80 million clicks. The company does not specify the name of the sensor inside, but it promises that it provides “unparalleled accuracy and precision.”
Other features include six programmable buttons, three connection modes, and support for fast charging via USB-C. Asus has not yet shared when the mouse will be available globally, but it is expected to be launched internationally soon.
