After announcing the new Apple Watch devices today at its September event, Apple shared information about watchOS 7, which will be available to all users on September 16.
watchOS 7 comes with a number of new changes and improvements. Two of the main headline features include
Sleep tracking and sharing the watch face on other devices Meanwhile, new exercise types such as dance, functional strength training, and core training, in addition to the ease of accurately tracking exercises, and the feature of automatic hand washing detection through a 20-second countdown to ensure that you are cleaning your hands long enough.
Apple Watches that will support watchOS 7
watchOS 7 will not come to Apple Watch Series 1 and Series 2. So if you want to get the new system, you will need an Apple Watch Series 3, Series 4, Series 5, or one of the newly announced Apple Watch models to use watchOS 7.

How to install watchOS 7
To install watchOS 7, head to your phone’s Watch app > General > Software Update to install watchOS 7.
