Apple unveiled the iPhone 17e, to replace the iPhone 16e in the list of mid-range economic phones in terms of price and value, but this time with new specifications for this category that had not come before.
The iPhone 17e comes with the A19 processor used in the entire iPhone 17 series, without any reduction in performance, in addition to the second-generation C1X modem that Apple designed itself, which is twice as fast as the C1 modem in the previous generation.
For the first time in this category, the iPhone 17e supports MagSafe magnetic wireless charging technology and its accessories, and the storage capacity starts at 256 GB, which is double what it was in the previous generation at approximately the same price.
The phone also comes with a single 48-megapixel rear camera that supports 2x optical zoom and 4K Dolby Vision photography, and a front camera that supports the Center Stage feature.
The phone is available in three colors: black, white, and pink. Price starts at $599 in the US, pre-order is available on March 4th and actual availability on March 11, 2026.
