Anker is preparing to launch a new generation of its economical wireless headphones to replace the popular Soundcore Space One version. Although a professional version of these headphones will be launched in 2024, the time has come to update the basic version, as the latest technical leaks revealed the full specifications of the anticipated Soundcore Space 2 headphones, in addition to the official launch date and the expected price, which will witness a noticeable increase compared to the previous generation.

Reliable leaks published precise details about this new version, which will carry the model number D1402. The source explained that the new headphones will come equipped with speakers with a diameter of 40 mm and rely on a double-layer membrane to provide a rich audio experience, in addition to providing them with three built-in microphones and an advanced low-frequency noise cancellation system that works in four different stages to ensure excellent sound insulation in noisy environments.

The new headphones retain some of the popular features of the previous version, which is currently available at a price of $99.99, as they support LDAC technology for broadcasting high-resolution wireless audio, in addition to the wear detection feature to automatically stop and play music. Moreover, the headphones will witness a noticeable upgrade in communication technologies by supporting the latest Bluetooth 6.1 standard, while providing a multi-point connection feature to connect two devices at the same time.

The battery will witness a significant jump in performance compared to the previous generation, as leaks indicate its ability to provide 50 hours of continuous operation when the noise isolation feature is activated, and up to 70 hours when it is turned off at a volume level of 50%. These numbers clearly exceed the Space One version, which provided 40 hours and 55 hours, respectively. The new headphones support fast charging via the USB-C port to provide 4 hours of listening after charging for only 5 minutes.

The weight of the new headphones is about 264 grams, a slight increase of only 5 grams over the previous generation, to ensure comfort for long periods of use. These headphones are scheduled to be officially launched in the United States of America on April 21 at a price of $129.99. This new cost reflects the size of the added upgrades, and will be available to users in three elegant color options, including dark black, linen white, and sea green.
