However, Vivo has prevented revealing detailed specifications, likely because the official launch in China is not scheduled until later this month, with a global rollout expected to follow in April 2026.
The short video reviewed the optical accessory called Zeiss Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, where Ben Sin confirmed that the lens provides up to 17 times optical zoom, while expanding the focal length from 85 mm to 400 mm.
When combined with cross-sensor cropping technologies, the phone can reach 800mm while maintaining practical and usable image quality, a focal range that is rare in today’s smartphone world.
So far, it is not clear whether the company will reveal more details or imaging samples without the lens kit during the MWC events.
