AMD indirectly revealed a possible date for the launch of the new generation of Xbox, after CEO Lisa Su stated during the earnings call that work is still continuing on the custom processor (SoC) on which the next device will be based.
According to AMD’s current schedule, launching the device in 2027 appears to be a strong possibility. However, the final decision remains in the hands of Microsoft, which may choose to postpone the date for a longer period. Based on these data, the chances of seeing the new Xbox before 2027 are significantly reduced.

In the same context, Microsoft and AMD have entered into a long-term strategic partnership to develop custom chips that support the entire Xbox ecosystem.
Microsoft had previously explained that the next generation of hardware would focus on providing a more luxurious experience, while supporting several different categories and designs of devices.
