A new leak coming from China reveals details of the rear camera system for the upcoming OnePlus 15T phone, which comes as a successor to the OnePlus 13T phone that was launched last April. However, the leaked information does not seem satisfactory for those who were waiting for a real leap in imaging capabilities.
The report indicates that the phone relies on a 50-megapixel main camera that uses a 1/1.56-inch Lytia 700 sensor from Sony with OIS optical stabilization support, along with a 50-megapixel telephoto camera that uses a 1/2.76-inch ISOCELL JN5 sensor from Samsung. It is almost the same combination used in the previous generation.

The only possible change is in the telephoto camera lens aperture, as it moves from f/2.0 in the 13T to f/2.8 in the 15T, while the main camera lens aperture remains at f/1.8 without any modification. Thus, the update does not carry any fundamental development at the level of photography hardware.
On the other hand, previous leaks indicate that the phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, with a battery that is considered the largest in its size category.
It is also expected to come with a 6.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution known as 1.5K, in addition to a 16-megapixel front camera.
