Oppo is working on developing the new generation of its flagship tablet, the Oppo Pad 5 Pro, which will succeed the Pad 4 Pro that it launched in April 2025. New leaks revealed the most prominent expected specifications of the device, along with its possible launch date.
According to information published by the leaker Digital Chat Station on the Weibo platform, the device will come with a large 13.2-inch screen, without clarifying whether it is IPS LCD or OLED.
The leaks also indicate that the device will rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor with 3nm manufacturing technology, which is a leading processor from Qualcomm that is expected to provide about 20% faster performance compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor used in some current tablets.

In terms of photography, the device may include a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera. It is also expected to have a large battery with a capacity of approximately 13,000 mAh with support for 67W fast charging.
In terms of memory and storage, the device is likely to be available in four versions, including: 8 GB of RAM with 256 GB of storage, 12 GB with 256 GB, 12 GB with 512 GB, in addition to a higher version with a capacity of 16 GB of RAM with 512 GB of storage.
As for the launch date, the information indicates the possibility of revealing the Oppo Pad 5 Pro during the month of April in conjunction with the Oppo Find X9 Ultra phone, with the expectation that the first launch will be in the Chinese market with no confirmation of its global availability yet.
