Huawei, according to a new leak from China, is developing the nova 16 Ultra phone to succeed the nova 15 Ultra that it launched just a few months ago. The leak indicates that the company is equipping the device with powerful specifications within the upper category.
According to circulated information, the phone will come with a ninth-class Kirin processor, while retaining the same screen used in the previous generation, which is a 6.84-inch LTPO OLED screen. In return, the battery will receive a noticeable upgrade to 7,000 mAh.

As for the cameras, the phone will maintain the 50-megapixel resolution of the main camera, but it will adopt a new 1/1.3-inch sensor. The 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera will also continue to be used without significant changes, and the same will likely apply to the ultra-wide camera.
The nova 16 Ultra will also retain support for wireless charging, as the previous generation did, while Huawei has not yet revealed the official launch date.
