Samsung is approaching the date of the Galaxy Unpacked event, and with less than a month remaining until the official launch, leaks continue about the Galaxy S26 series, as the latest report revealed the basic specifications of the Galaxy S26 Ultra along with new official images in purple and black.
The AndroidHeadlines website reported publishing an almost complete specifications sheet for the upcoming flagship phone, indicating that it will have a 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and a variable refresh rate from 1 to 120 Hz.
The screen is also expected to support Privacy Display technology, which reduces the clarity of content when viewed from side angles. The phone also comes with a 12-megapixel front camera with S Pen support.
In terms of dimensions, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is likely to measure 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9 mm and weigh 214 grams, which are numbers very close to the dimensions and weight of the Galaxy S25 Ultra, which indicates maintaining almost the same design philosophy.

In terms of performance, Samsung is expected to rely on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor from Qualcomm, without confirming whether the version is designated “for Galaxy.” Internal storage starts at 256 GB, with the ability to upgrade up to 1 TB.
At the back, the phone will have a redesigned camera unit, topped by a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 main camera with an expected f/1.4 lens aperture to improve low-light performance.
It is supported by a 50-megapixel wide camera (Samsung JN3), a 50-megapixel periscope lens (IMX854), as well as a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (Samsung S5K3LD).
As for the battery, the leaks indicate the continued use of a capacity of 5000 mAh, which may disappoint those who are waiting for a noticeable increase. On the other hand, reports hint at the possibility of raising the charging speed to 60 watts instead of 45 watts in the previous generation.
According to expectations, Samsung will announce the Galaxy S26 series on February 25, with pre-orders starting on March 5, while sales are likely to officially launch on March 11.
