Today, Xiaomi launched the global version of the Redmi Note 15 Pro+, after it had unveiled it several months ago in China. Despite the similarity of the name, the global model does not completely match the Chinese version in terms of specifications.
The most notable differences start with the camera, as the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ in China came with a 50-megapixel main camera, while the global version gets a 200-megapixel HPE main camera, with support for 2x and 4x zoom within the sensor.
The lens also supports five focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 92mm. The main camera is accompanied by an 8-megapixel wide lens, as is the case in the Chinese version, but without the 50-megapixel telephoto camera.
The difference also extends to the battery, as the Chinese version contains a 7,000 mAh battery with 90 watt charging, while the global version relies on a 6,500 mAh Si/C battery with support for 100 watt fast charging, in addition to 22.5 watt wired reverse charging. Despite the smaller battery, the global version comes with a greater thickness compared to the Chinese version.
As for the screen, the global version maintains the same diagonal of 6.83 inches, a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and a maximum brightness of 3,200 lumens. However, the resolution is slightly different, as it is 2772 x 1280 pixels in the global version versus 2772 x 1220 pixels in the Chinese version.

Xiaomi also relied on Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection in the global version, instead of Dragon Crystal Glass in the Chinese version.
The processor remains the same in both versions, which is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, along with a 32-megapixel front camera, the HyperOS interface, and support for Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC.
Other specifications include a fingerprint sensor built into the screen, dual speakers, support for Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res Audio, in addition to support for eSIM chips, and water and dust resistance standards IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K.
The phone also supports Xiaomi’s Offline Communication feature, which allows direct voice communication between devices over distances of up to kilometers without the need for a network, along with the Xiaomi Surge T1S Tuner chip to improve signal performance across Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and cellular networks.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is available globally in three colors: Black, Mocha Brown, and Glacier Blue, with three memory options: 8 GB with 128 GB, 12 GB with 256 GB, and 12 GB with 512 GB.
