Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S26 globally, and now Xiaomi is responding by unveiling the Xiaomi 17 alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and the Leica Leitzphone. The Xiaomi 17 was first introduced in China more than five months ago, and comes in a size close to the Galaxy S26 thanks to a 6.3-inch screen.

The global version maintains most of the specifications that appeared in the Chinese version; It adopts an AMOLED screen with a brightness of up to 3,500 nits, and includes four 50-megapixel cameras, including a telephoto lens with a focal length of 60 mm.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor also returns, along with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

However, Xiaomi reduces the battery capacity in the global version by approximately 9.5%, to 6330 mAh instead of 7000 mAh in the Chinese version, which may affect the duration of use compared to it. The company also replaces the white color available in China with green, joining black, blue and pink.

Xiaomi is offering the phone with two storage options, both with 12 GB of RAM. The price starts at 999 euros for the 256 GB version, while the 512 GB version is available for an increase of 100 euros.

Pre-orders before March 14 also allow you to obtain the Xiaomi Tag at a price of 0.99 euros, and a 120W charging adapter at a price of 29 euros instead of 59 euros.
