Xiaomi has a new high-end Android tablet for the global audience. The device, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, launches with free accessories, and also features a fast screen, a large battery, and better cameras than its peers. The Xiaomi iPad 8 Pro can be configured with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Xiaomi has now launched the iPad 8 Pro internationally. The iPad 8 Pro, available in China since September 2025, challenges high-end tablets such as the Oppo Pad 4 Pro, Galaxy Tab S11, and OnePlus Pad 3 (currently available at $628 used on Amazon) thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Elite processing chip. Of course, the iPad 8 Pro computer will be much more powerful than the iPad 8 computer that was also launched today.
Xiaomi also supplies the iPad 8 Pro computer with a 9200 mAh battery to match the iPad 8 computer. However, the first can charge its battery with a capacity of 67 watts compared to 45 watts for the second. In addition, the iPad 8 Pro features superior cameras and is available in higher memory capacities. However, Xiaomi includes the same 11.2-inch display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, and 3.2K resolution in both tablets.
The iPad 8 Pro starts with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the Eurozone. Alternatively, the tablet can be configured with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Typically, the two versions will be sold at 599 euros (about $705) and 699 euros (about $825), respectively. Until March 14, Xiaomi is offering the 256GB version for 519 euros (about $613), a saving of 80 euros. In contrast, the 512GB version comes with a free Fox Pen Pro stylus and keyboard accessories without any launch discounts.
