Xiaomi launched the Bluetooth Remote 2 Pro in China, offering a set of smart features, most notably support for screen streaming via NFC.
This feature allows users to display the phone screen on the TV with just one touch on the remote, without the need for complicated traditional steps, which makes the streaming experience faster and easier.
The device also comes with a simple design that includes only the basic buttons, with a dedicated button for the voice assistant to easily execute commands. In addition, Xiaomi provides a customizable button that can be linked to different functions such as switching input sources.
The remote relies on a 300 mAh battery, with support for charging via USB-C, in addition to Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity to ensure stable performance. It also features wide compatibility with Xiaomi and Redmi TVs and TV boxes.
The device is currently available in the Chinese market at a price of 99 yuan (about $14), without official confirmation of its global availability.
