The WhatsApp platform is currently working on adding a noise isolation feature within the application for audio and video calls, according to what appeared in the latest beta version of WhatsApp on Android.
The feature aims to automatically filter out ambient noise to improve call clarity, especially in crowded environments or during traffic or wind noise, which helps the other party hear the voice more clearly.

Users can manually activate or disable the feature from the call list, where a dedicated button appears within the call interface. The information also indicates that it will be activated by default when available.
WhatsApp has begun gradually rolling out the feature to testers of the beta version, and it is expected to reach all users on Android in the coming weeks or months if the tests go without problems.
