On the sidelines of the MWC 2026 exhibition, Vivo revealed some details related to the main camera of its upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra phone, after the phone appeared at the exhibition without fully disclosing its design or technical specifications.
Han Boxiao, product manager at Vivo, confirmed in a post on the Weibo platform that the phone will include a 200-megapixel main camera on the back. This camera relies on a 1/1.12-inch Sony LYTIA-901 sensor, with a focal length of 35 mm.
According to the company, the new sensor features its ability to capture up to 30% more light per pixel compared to the previous generation, which contributes to improving image quality, especially in low-light conditions.

The system also supports noticeable improvements in optical stabilization, as it achieves the CIPA 6.5 standard, which is an improvement compared to the X200 Ultra phone, which received a CIPA 5.0 rating, which means better performance when shooting at night and recording video.
Regarding the camera lenses, Vivo has improved the optical structure to consist of one glass element and six plastic elements, along with a new coating that aims to reduce glare by up to 30% compared to the previous generation.
Recent leaks indicate that the phone may also come with a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto periscope lens, in addition to a 5-megapixel multi-spectral sensor on the back.
