The first handball team of Zamalek Club succeeded in achieving victory over its counterpart, Al-Shams, with a score of 36-22 in the match that brought them together on Friday evening, in the Al-Shams Club hall.

The Zamalek club’s first handball team was able to finish the first half in its favor with a score of 21-9, then the team continued to excel in the second half until the score reached 36-22, ending the match with a victory for the Commandos.
The match between Zamalek and Al-Shams was held in the handball league, in the team’s sixth confrontation in the professional league finals.
The team will play its last match in the first leg of the final round against Al-Ahly club next Friday at Hassan Mustafa Hall on the 6th of October.
Earlier, the first men’s handball team at Al-Ahly club continued its strong results, after maintaining the top spot in the professional handball league table for the local season 2025-2026, with the conclusion of the fifth round of the second stage of the competition.

The round witnessed the continuation of the conflict between the two poles, and the ranking of the first places was as follows:
Al-Ahly: first place with 21 points.
Zamalek: second place with 19.5 points.
National Bank: third place with 16.5 points.
Sporting: fourth place with 12.5 points.
Talaea El Gaish: fifth place with 12 points.
