The technical staff of the club’s first football team decided Zamalek Led by Motamed Gamal, the players were given a break from group training, today, Tuesday, after playing the Al-Sharqiya Al-Dukhan friendly match in Alexandria, which was held today at the Military College Stadium.
Zamalek will resume training tomorrow, Wednesday, in preparation for Al-Masry’s next match in the first round of the final stage to decide the league title, scheduled for Sunday, April 5, at the Army Stadium in Burj Al-Arab.
The Zamalek club’s first football team defeated Al-Sharqiya Al-Dukhan in Alexandria with five goals to no return, in the friendly match that was held at the Military College Stadium in preparation for the next Al-Masry match.

In the same context, Zamalek Club received an official letter from the Egyptian Clubs Association stating that the date of the first football team’s match against Al-Masry Al-Port Said in the first round of the final stage to decide the league title was moved forward for 24 hours, to be held next April 5 instead of being held on the 6th of the same month.
It is worth noting that the football administration at Zamalek Club asked the Club Association to advance the date of Al-Masry’s match in the league after the Confederation of African Football (CAF) set April 10 as the date for Zamalek’s match against Algeria’s CS Belouizdad in the first leg of the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup.
