The artist Youssef El-Sherif revealed the reason for his absence from the drama, explaining that he did not find the appropriate work that respected the viewer’s mind as his fans were accustomed to, in addition to talking about the challenges that he faced with his children at the beginning of the period of separation.
Youssef Al-Sharif said, in his interview on Her Excellency’s programme: During the past period, this is permissible. I was trying to do other work and I did not have the opportunity to present what I wanted to do in the correct manner, in my point of view, in which I feel that I respect the people, and this is the contract that I am entering into with the people implicitly.
Youssef Al-Sharif continued: What I always think about is why I work and what will benefit me if I do this work, and in the past period I tried to stay in the opportunity in which the correct work was done and carried out in the correct way that I brought it and did it correctly.
How did Youssef Al-Sharif and his children face the first period after the separation?
As for the challenges he faced with his children at the beginning of his separation from author Angie Alaa, Youssef Al-Sharif commented: I live with my children Abdullah and Abdul Rahman. They are identical twins and they are 16 years old. At the beginning of the experience it was difficult and I used to say, “How will I continue?” They help me with everything, and now they help me with my work.
