The center and city of Biba in Beni Suef Governorate witnessed the implementation of a number of field campaigns to improve the level of services provided to citizens, within the framework of the directives of Major General Abdullah Abdul Aziz, Governor of Beni Suef, to continue field follow-up of hygiene and beautification files, confront infringements, and interact with citizens’ complaints in various service sectors.
Ahmed Alaa El-Din, head of the center and city of Biba, followed up on the regularity of work within the technology center, where he met with a number of citizens to listen to their demands and discuss ways to solve them, in addition to following up on the progress of work and ensuring that services are provided regularly, while implementing instructions to rationalize electricity consumption in the streets and villages affiliated with the center.
Cleaning campaigns in a number of main streets
The local unit’s efforts also included implementing intensive cleaning campaigns in a number of the city’s main streets, where garbage and waste were removed from the streets of: Port Said, El Geneina, Fayyad, El Bousta, Embabi, Al Ambabi, Al Burj Factory, Central, Al Mashra, Sedqi, and Al Mill in the Fabriqa area of Baba, in addition to Sheikh Street, within the framework of a plan to improve the level of public cleanliness and preserve the civilized appearance.
In the same context, the Occupancy Department implemented campaigns to remove occupancy and encroachments on the right of way, especially at the entrance to the Fabriqa Bridge in Baba and Al-Shabab Street, in a way that contributes to facilitating traffic movement and maintaining discipline on the streets.
Campaigns to remove encroachments also continued as part of the 28th wave to remove encroachments, as several cases of removing encroachments were carried out on lands belonging to the jurisdiction of irrigation and drainage and state property, as well as cases of encroachment on agricultural lands, with the necessary legal measures being taken against violators.
The local unit confirmed the continued intensification of field campaigns in the city and affiliated villages, to monitor the level of services provided to citizens, and to deal immediately with any violations or infringements, in implementation of the governorate’s directives to preserve state lands and agricultural lands and improve the level of services provided to citizens.
