Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, announced the start of trial operation of the two new service lines to and from the city of Talkha tomorrow, Sunday morning, as part of the governorate’s plan to develop the mass transportation system and facilitate the movement of citizens.
The governor stressed the need for continuous follow-up to ensure regular work on the new lines, directing full coordination between the executive agencies and the General Traffic Department, while adhering to the prescribed tariff of 5 pounds.
He explained that the governorate had finished affixing identification stickers to all buses scheduled to operate, with the aim of clarifying the traffic routes in an organized and clear manner to citizens, within the new service system.

He noted that the lines include:
Sandoub/Talkha line (round trip):
Sandoub, Talkha, Club Road, security forces, school complex, two railway tracks, Mit Antar stop, Ghanem Mosque.
University line (round trip):
Al-Kitab Square, Nazla, New Talkha Bridge, Real Estate Month, Talkha Hospital, Judges Club, Teachers Club, Ghannam Mosque.
The Governor of Dakahlia appealed to citizens to report any complaints or violations via the designated emergency numbers, stressing that they would be dealt with promptly and immediately to ensure the provision of a civilized and safe transportation service.
