Ahmed Abdel Rahim Esho, player of the first football team at Zamalek Club, stressed the difficulty of his team’s upcoming match against Algeria’s CS Belouizdad in the semi-finals of the African Confederation Cup.

Statements of Ahmed Esho, Zamalek player

Ahmed Esho said in statements to the media as part of CAF’s media activities: Whoever reaches the Confederation semi-finals is certainly a strong competitor, and we know the importance and difficulty of the match.

Ahmed Esho added: We watched the match between Chabab Belouizdad and Al-Masry and got to know the opponent well. Everyone is focused on achieving a positive result and qualifying for the African Confederation Final.

Ahmed Abdel Rahim Esho spoke about the absence of Mohamed Sobhi from the two matches against CS Belouizdad after his expulsion in the Congolese Otoho match in the second leg of the quarter-finals, saying: There is no main goalkeeper and a backup goalkeeper in Zamalek, everyone is capable of protecting the White Castle’s den.

Esho concluded his statements by saying: Zamalek does not fear any competitor, and we respect everyone, but the value of the team gives it strength against any competitor.

The Zamalek club’s first football team will host its Algerian counterpart, CR Belouizdad, in the first leg of the Confederation Cup semi-final at nine in the evening next Friday at Nelson Mandela Stadium, while the return match will be held on April 17 at Cairo International Stadium.
