Motamed Jamal, the technical director of the club’s first football team, said ZamalekFacing CS Belouizdad in the first leg of the Confederation Cup semi-final is important and difficult for both teams.
Motamed Gamal’s statements before the match between Zamalek and CS Belouizdad
Motamed Gamal added in the press conference before the match: We realize the difficulty of the match, and it is a two-half match, the first of which will be tomorrow in Algeria, and our goal is to achieve a positive result that will facilitate the team’s mission in the return match in Cairo in order to qualify for the final match.
He continued: We realize that we will face a competitor at a distinguished level, and he did not qualify by chance, and the CS Belouizdad team certainly followed the matches of Zamalek, just as we followed the matches of the competing team.
Motamed Jamal continued: We will face a strong and popular team, and we have great experience in similar situations, and the players are accustomed to these confrontations in the presence of experienced elements.
He added: The pressures that Zamalek was subjected to gave the team great motivation, and we are the only Egyptian team in the African Championships, and we do not want to leave the tournament, and we are looking forward to achieving the title.
Zamalek’s technical director continued in his statements: The team’s ranks were not complete before, and we previously suffered due to injuries and absences, and this is the first time that the team’s ranks are complete, and all the players are in a state of physical and technical readiness, and they want to do their best to achieve the best result.
He continued: Zamalek is one of the best teams to score in the Egyptian League and the Confederation Cup, and we are moving at a steady pace, and the semi-final matches are difficult to compensate for, and they are not like the group stage matches, and we have a goal that we strive to achieve.
He stressed: Chabab Belouizdad plays in a balanced manner, and changing the technical staff of the competing team may be an additional motivation for it. We have studied their style of play, and I see that the two teams are an open book to each other, and Zamalek is playing for the championship, and I hope that we will have success in tomorrow’s match and have a good match.
Zamalek’s technical director stressed: We realize the importance of the match against a strong competitor on its home field and among its fans, in addition to having distinguished elements in all lines. I have confidence in the Zamalek players and their ability to achieve the desired goal, and we do not fear the competitor, but we respect the Shabab Belouizdad team, and are well prepared for the match.

Zamalek will be the guest of its Algerian counterpart, CR Belouizdad, in the first leg of the Confederation Cup semi-final, at nine o’clock in the evening tomorrow, Friday, at Nelson Mandela Stadium, with the return match being held on April 17 at Cairo International Stadium.
