Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin claimed Netanyahuthat Israel achieved what he described as tremendous achievements in the war against Iran, according to the Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth.
Netanyahu: A trillion Iranian dollars have been wasted
Netanyahu said in a television speech, Tuesday evening, a month after the war against Iran: We are crushing the regime that was chanting death to America, death to Israel.
He claimed that the Iranian regime sought to develop a nuclear and missile program, and financed armed groups affiliated with it, adding: All of this cost Iran nearly a trillion dollars, and now we can say that this trillion was wasted.
Earlier, China and Pakistan announced on Tuesday the presentation of a new initiative to end the war in Iran, which includes an immediate ceasefire and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
The Pakistani Foreign Minister told Axios that the plan crystallized during his visit to Beijing, while US President Donald Trump declined to comment on the details, but said that diplomacy with Iran is going well.
