The Waaz Beni Suef region organized an extensive educational symposium targeting the nursing staff at the Health Insurance Hospital, under the title “Profession Etiquette and the Maximum Remuneration of Those Who Serve Patients,” as a gesture of appreciation for the efforts of the medical staff.
The symposium was held in the presence of prominent religious and medical leaders, which reflected the state’s interest in providing psychological and religious support to health service providers, in the presence of Sheikh Reda Muhammad Abdel Halim, Director General of Waaz Beni Suef and head of the Fatwa Committee (main lecturer), and Sheikh Ahmed Muhammad Hassan, the preacher in the Waaz Beni Suef region, who has a soft voice as a reader and supplicant, along with Sheikh Mahmoud Hashem Abu Al-Nour, the preacher and media coordinator for the Waaz Beni Suef region, presented by Dr. Muhammad. Yahya, Director General of the Health Insurance Authority branch in Beni Suef, Dr. Sherif Zakaria, Director General of the Health Insurance Hospital, and Dr. Radwa Abdel Ghaffar, Director of the Training Department.
During the lecture, Sheikh Reda Muhammad Abdel Halim addressed several important faith and humanitarian points, which received great approval and interaction from the audience, including talking about the great reward that God has prepared for whoever seeks the patient’s need and alleviating his pain, emphasizing that a smile and a kind word are an integral part of the psychological and physical treatment of the patient, and sending messages of support to male and female nurses to face the pressures of work with patience, in anticipation of the reward from God Almighty.
The hall witnessed a warm welcome from the nursing staff, who expressed their happiness at the presence of Al-Azhar scholars among them.
For his part, Dr. Mohamed Yahya, Director of the Health Insurance Branch in Beni Suef Governorate, stressed the importance of these meetings in sharpening motivation and raising the efficiency of human and pre-professional performance. He pointed out that the hospital is always keen to integrate the medical side with the spiritual side.
While Dr. Radwa Abdel Ghaffar explained that this lecture comes within the training department’s plan to develop communication skills and improve the psychological aspect of the nursing staff.
The lecture concluded by opening the door to discussion and answering the audience’s questions, with an emphasis on the continuity of cooperation between the preaching area and the hospital’s training department to hold periodic meetings.
