An official source at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research revealed that the committee that was formed to develop curricula and map the labor market in Egypt, headed by Dr. Abdel Aziz Qanswa, is scheduled to begin its work after the Eid al-Fitr holiday, in parallel with the committees formed within Egyptian government universities.
The source explained in statements to Cairo 24 that universities have already begun to form internal committees in implementation of the ministry’s directives, headed by each university and with the membership of a number of vice presidents of universities and deans of colleges, along with a group of experts, with the aim of supporting efforts to develop curricula and linking them to the needs of the labor market.
