The security services in the Sohag Security Directorate were able to arrest two people in possession of a large quantity of live ammunition, inside a mobile phone, in the Tama Center district, north of Sohag Governorate.

Major General Hassan Abdel Aziz, Assistant Minister of the Interior and Director of Sohag Security, received a notification from the warden of the Tama Center stating that two people from Assiut Governorate had been arrested while they were in the Tama Center district and in possession of a mobile phone containing a quantity of bullets.
The incident began when information was received by the Tama Police Station investigators, led by Lieutenant Colonel Amr Al-Madani, Chief of Investigations, regarding the possession of a mobile phone containing a large quantity of live ammunition by two people residing in the Badari Center district, while they were passing through the Tama Center district on their way to another destination.
Immediately, Major Medhat Madi, accompanied by Captain Ahmed Mazhar, moved in, and through examination and investigation, the information was confirmed correct, as the two young men were seized with a mobile phone containing a quantity of live ammunition for the Greenov weapon.
When the defendants were confronted, they admitted to possessing the seized ammunition without a license, and the seized items were kept at the disposal of the investigating authorities.
The necessary report on the incident was prepared, and the defendants were presented to the investigating authorities, who decided to detain them for four days pending the case.
