Today, Friday, April 3, 2026, South Sinai Governorate is witnessing a noticeable improvement in temperatures in all cities of the governorate, and wind activity that may stir up sand and dust, according to the General Authority of Meteorology.

The governorate is witnessing high temperatures during the day and a noticeable improvement at night. However, there are chances of light rain falling in most areas, and winds carrying sand and dust, and light rain, on the Red Sea mountain ranges.
For its part, the Meteorological Authority explained that today, Friday, weather conditions will be stable, with cold weather prevailing in the early morning, warm during the day over most areas, hot in South Upper Egypt, and cold at night in most areas, chances of light rain that may be moderate at times in areas of the southern Upper Egypt governorates and the Red Sea mountain ranges at intermittent periods, chances of low clouds forming with a 20% occurrence rate in some areas, and active winds ranging in speed from 20-40 km/h that may stir up sand and dust on areas of the western coasts. Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, South Sinai, the south of the country, and the Western Desert at intermittent periods.
As for the conditions in the Mediterranean and Red Seas, the conditions in them are moderate, with waves between 2 and 2.25 meters high, and the wind direction is southwesterly to northwesterly.
