The governorate is witnessing warm to hot and cold weather at night, chances of moderate and light rain in most parts, winds laden with sand and dust, and low temperatures at night in St. Catherine.
For its part, the Meteorological Authority explained that today, Sunday, will witness a rise in temperatures in most areas, and cold weather will prevail in the early morning, warm to hot in most areas, during the day and cool at night, and moderate rain will be imposed on areas of the northern coastal governorates, Lower Egypt, and the canal cities, which may sometimes be heavy with an incidence of approximately 20% in some areas at intermittent intervals.
There are chances of light to moderate rain in areas of the Sinai, Greater Cairo, North Upper Egypt and Western Desert governorates at intermittent periods, and active winds in most parts that may cause sand and dust in areas of central and southern Upper Egypt and northern Red Sea Governorate.
As for the conditions of the Mediterranean Sea, it is moderate and turbulent, the waves are about 2.5 meters high, and the wind is northwesterly. As for the Red Sea, it is moderate, the waves are about 2 meters high, and the wind direction is southeasterly.
