The referral order stated that, during the period from 2015 until June 10, 2024, the first to fourth defendants assumed leadership of a terrorist group whose purpose was to call for disruption of public order and endanger the safety and security of society, by taking over the administrative structure of the Brotherhood.
The defendants, from the fifth defendant to the last defendant, were charged with several counts of joining a terrorist group, despite their knowledge of its purposes and means of achieving those purposes. The defendants, from the seventeenth defendant to the twenty-ninth defendant, were charged with financing a terrorist group.
