Today, Sunday, the Tanta Criminal Court is considering pronouncing the final ruling on the perpetrator of the incident of ending the life of a young man from the city of Kafr El-Zayat after a quarrel broke out between the two parties, which led to his immediate death.
Referral of the accused’s papers
On March 3, 2026, Tanta Criminal Court decided to refer the papers of the accused in the incident of ending the life of the young man Salah Al-Qalini, known as Salah Kazouba, to the Grand Mufti of the Republic, to take the Sharia opinion on the ruling, and the final ruling is scheduled to be issued today after the Sharia opinion is received.
Details of the incident date back to December 2025 in the city of Kafr El-Zayat, Governorate WesternAfter an altercation broke out between two parties, the young man suffered a penetrating stab wound to the heart, which led to his immediate death from his injury.
The security services in Gharbia Governorate, specifically at Kafr El-Zayat Police Station, were able to arrest the accused within a short period of time of the accident, and the necessary legal measures were taken.
