Counselor Hashem Ibrahim Hashem, Attorney General of the South Damanhour Public Prosecution, had decided to refer 26 defendants to the Criminal Court, to accuse them of a horrific murder in one of the villages of the Dalingat Police Station in Beheira Governorate, the events of which date back to July 2025.
The prosecution’s investigations revealed that the first to the tenth defendants were determined and intended to get rid of the two victims. Investigations indicated that the motive behind the crime was revenge following a previous revenge dispute between the two parties.
The perpetrators prepared loaded firearms, “automatic rifles, drums” and bladed weapons, and they used the ninth defendant to monitor the movements of the two victims. As soon as the signal arrived for them to pass, the defendants attacked them with a barrage of bullets at the place from which they were sure they had passed, which led to their immediate death as a result of their injuries described in the autopsy report. The fifth to eighth defendants also participated in strengthening the perpetrators at the scene of the incident, while the tenth took charge of securing the road. Escape.
The prosecution charged the defendants from the eleventh to the twenty-sixth with participation in incitement, agreement, and assistance, as they provided the necessary financial support to purchase the weapons and ammunition used in the attack.
