The Kafr El-Sheikh Electricity Sector announced, based on the signal received from the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company, the disconnection of electrical current from Transformer No. 5 at the Kafr El-Sheikh transformer station, today, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from six in the morning until eight in the morning, to carry out the necessary maintenance work.
The sector explained in an official statement that the disconnection will affect a large number of vital areas and facilities in the city of Kafr El-Sheikh and its surroundings, as the power supply will be disconnected from the Obour Hospital – the Rice Training Center – Crop Improvement – Levantine Corn – the refrigerator buildings in front of Zohdi – Zohdi area – Al-Qanounien next to Zohdi division – Al-Salkhana – Banks area – New warriors – Manufactures sales area – Al-Mazlaqan area – Old Culture area – Security Directorate – State Council – Al-Ahrar Towers – Administrative Control – New Ramadan – Al-Salam Division.
