Today, Monday, Al-Azhari preparatory school students will conclude their mid-year exams in 4 Al-Azhari educational departments, amidst restrictions prohibiting mobile phone access for students and observers.

Dr. Ahmed Badir, head of the central administration for the South Sinai Al-Azhar region, told Cairo 24 that today, Monday, January 12, is the end of the mid-year exams for preparatory school students, within the South Sinai Al-Azhar institutes.

Dr. Ahmed Badir confirmed that the total number of students in the first year of middle school is 631, and 503 male and female students in the second year of middle school, noting that the preparatory transfer exams began on Monday, January 5, and end today, Monday, January 12, while the primary and preparatory Al-Azhar certificate exams begin on Thursday, January 15, and end on Thursday, January 22.

He added: There were no violations or cases of cheating recorded in the preparatory transfer exam, and the exams are at different levels for students, and no complaints were recorded from students about the difficulty of the exams.

Dr. Badir pointed out that the students of the first year of preparatory school take the last day’s exam in the foreign language subject from 9:00 until 11:00, the art education exam from 11:30 until 12:30, and the high-level exams, especially in model and private institutes only, from 1:00 until 2:30.

Second year middle school students take the last day’s exam in the English language subject from 9:00 to 11:00, the art education exam from 11:30 to 12:30, and the high-level exam is for model and private institutes only.
