The Creativity and Scientific Research Complex, affiliated with the Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Sector, organizes BCapital University A symposium entitled “The Economy of Innovation and Transformation into an Entrepreneur,” within the framework of the university’s strategy to support the culture of innovation and enhance its students’ orientation towards entrepreneurship, under the patronage of Dr. Al-Sayyid Qandil, President of the University, and Dr. Imad Abu Al-Dahab, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, and under the supervision of Dr. Maysa Nabih, Director of the Creativity and Scientific Research Complex and Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Interdisciplinary Research. The symposium will be lectured by Dr. Hossam Othman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Innovation and Scientific Research.
To direct students towards entrepreneurship.. Capital University discusses the economy of innovation and becoming an entrepreneur
The symposium is scheduled to be held in the Public Relations Hall of the Administrative Building at Capital University, on Monday, March 30, 2026, at eleven o’clock in the morning.
Dr. Al-Sayyid Qandil, President of the University, stressed that the Capital University places innovation and entrepreneurship at its top priorities, believing in the university’s role in preparing a generation capable of thinking outside the box and transforming knowledge into productive projects that contribute to achieving sustainable development.
Dr. Imad Abu Al-Dahab, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research, explained that the postgraduate studies and scientific research sector works to maximize the benefit from the outputs of scientific research and link them to market needs, in a way that supports building an economy based on knowledge and innovation to serve society.
Dr. Maysa Nabih, Director of the Innovation and Scientific Research Complex and Vice Dean of the College of Graduate Studies and Interdisciplinary Research, stated that the symposium addresses the concept of the innovation economy and its importance in supporting economic development, in addition to reviewing the mechanisms for transforming from a research idea into a successful entrepreneurial project, and the role of universities in qualifying students and researchers to be entrepreneurs able to compete locally and internationally, as well as highlighting successful models and experiences in this field.
