Artist Aser Yassin participated in the activities of the 43rd educational symposium For the Armed Forces on the occasion of the Day of the Martyr and the Veteran, at the Al-Manara Center for International Conferences and Seminars in Cairo, in the presence of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, a number of senior statesmen, leaders of the armed forces, and the families of the martyrs.
Aser Yassin said during the symposium that Egypt has not forgotten its heroes throughout its history, noting that these heroes sacrificed their lives in order to achieve security and safety for the homeland and its people.
He added that when the new generations grow up, they will realize the value of what the martyrs provided, explaining that the most precious thing a person has is his soul, which is what these heroes gave in ransom for Egypt.

The official spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic previously stated that the celebration began with the recitation of a verse from the Holy Qur’an, then the program began with a presentation on “the status of the martyr/awareness/love of the homeland,” followed by a video presentation at the memorial in People’s Square in the new capital, at the end of which the martyr’s salutation was played in People’s Square, then a segment entitled “Our Martyrs in Our Hearts” was shown using artificial intelligence technology, after which a documentary film entitled “So We Do Not Forget” was shown.
The program also included a performance of a song entitled “You Are the Hero,” then a documentary film entitled “The Martyr’s Dream,” and another film titled “The Mission is to Protect a Homeland,” and the shows concluded with the operetta “100 Million Fedayeen.”
