Al-Abd explained, in his statement to Cairo 24, that the price of a kilo of kahk is 330 pounds, while the price of a kilo of petit fours is 365 pounds, and a kilo of shortbread is 450 pounds, while the price of a kilo of biscuits is 290 pounds, and cookies are 335 pounds.
He added that prices are completely stable this season, stressing that there are no increases compared to the previous period.
Eid cake prices in Al-Abd stores 2026
Al-Abd stores have offered a variety of kahk boxes at different prices depending on the weight and type of kahk. Prices include the following:
Small and medium weights:
- Half a kilo of plain kahk (8 pieces of kahk and 18 biscuits): 190 pounds
- One kilo of mixed kahk: 350 pounds
- 1.5 kilograms of mixed kahk: 560 pounds
- 2 kilos of mixed kahk: 720 pounds
- Big weights:
- 2.5 kilograms: 900 pounds
- 3 kilos: 1,100 pounds
- 3.5 kilograms (about 154 pieces): 1,400 pounds
- 4 kilos: 1,600 pounds
- 5.25 kilograms: 2100 pounds
- 6 kilograms: 3000 pounds
Prices vary depending on the quality of materials, level of packaging, and percentage of nuts, while mixed boxes remain the most popular option during the Eid season.
