President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, congratulated the women and men of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of Egyptian Diplomacy Day.
In a post on his official page on the social networking site Facebook, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said: On Egyptian Diplomacy Day, I extend my congratulations to the women and men of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who continue with unwavering determination and unfailing loyalty to defend the interests of our dear homeland, preserve its status and enhance its presence on the regional and international arenas.
The President of the Republic added that this year’s celebration coincides with the two hundredth anniversary of the founding of the first modern institution of the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in a historical milestone that embodies an extended national legacy of solid diplomatic work, which has contributed over the past period to strengthening Egypt’s international standing.
He concluded his post by saying: Every year, Egyptian diplomacy continues to carry out its national mission efficiently and competently, so that Egypt will always remain in its rightful position, a beacon of peace, a pillar of stability, and a voice heard in the world.
