The US military announced the sinking of an Iranian ship in a Gulf OmanIn light of the continued mutual attacks between the United States and Israel with Iran.
The US military said in a statement: We targeted an Iranian frigate and it is now sinking in the Gulf of Oman, and members of the Iranian army, the Revolutionary Guard, and the police must lay down their weapons.
Closing the Strait of Hormuz
Meanwhile, maritime agencies reported that two ships were attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
Reuters reported that more than 150 tankers carrying oil and gas stopped in Gulf waters in compliance with the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.
