Today, Saturday, the First Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, will complete the trial of 23 defendants, in Case No. 20701 of 2024, First Settlement felonies, known as the “Financial Support Committees Cell.”

The session will be held under the chairmanship of Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny and the membership of Counselors Wael Omran, Ghareeb Ezzat and Mahmoud Zidan.
An order to refer defendants to financial support committees for criminal trial
The referral order revealed that, during the period from 2011, until November 30, 2024, the first and third defendants assumed the leadership of a terrorist group in the specific committees in the governorates, the purpose of which was to call for disruption of public order, endanger the safety and security of society, disrupt the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedoms of citizens, and harming national unity and social peace.
The referral order continued: The fourth to the last defendants joined the group that is the subject of the accusation, knowing its purposes, and all the defendants were charged with financing terrorism.
