The First Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, headed by Counselor Mohamed Al-Saeed El-Sherbiny, decided today to postpone the trial of 11 defendants in Case No. 337 of 2025, First Assembly Felonies, known as ISIS, to the May 19 ruling session.

The referral order said that, during the period from 2020 until February 16, 2021, all of the defendants joined a terrorist group with the purpose of calling for disruption of public order and endangering the safety and security of society, disrupting the provisions of the Constitution and the law, and of state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, assaulting the personal freedoms of citizens, and harming national unity and social peace, with their knowledge of its purposes, which was founded by a deceased defendant.
Earlier, the Second Circuit of Terrorism, held in Badr, headed by Counselor Wagdy Abdel Moneim, ruled today, Wednesday, the trial of 50 defendants in Case No. 14739 of 2024, Nasr City Felony, known as the administrative structure of the Brotherhood, for the session of next June 23.
The referral order revealed that, during the period from 2021 until May 9, 2022, the first to sixth defendants assumed leadership of a terrorist group that was established in contravention of the provisions of the law, preventing state institutions and public authorities from carrying out their work, attacking the personal freedom of citizens, rights and freedoms, and harming national unity, social peace, and national security, by establishing and assuming leadership of a group calling for the change of the government system by force, targeting public institutions, and attacking individuals.
