Today, Saturday, the Supreme Administrative Court received 29 appeals against the results of the 19 canceled districts in the first round of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, by decision of the National Elections Authority, the results of which were officially announced on Thursday, December 11.

Judge Hazem Badawi, head of the National Elections Authority, announced the results of the runoff in the Itsa district in Fayoum and 19 districts canceled by the authority’s decision from the first stage of the 2025 House of Representatives elections, in which the voting process was held on December 1 and 2 abroad and on December 3 and 4 inside, in which 455 candidates competed for 43 seats.

The Supreme Administrative Court of the State Council continues to receive appeals for two days, ending today, Saturday, and begins examining and adjudicating appeals according to the timetable specified by the National Elections Authority, which specifies a period of two days to receive appeals, and a 10-day period for considering and adjudicating them.

The result of the first round for the 19 districts canceled by the Commission’s decision included the victory of 6 candidates and a runoff for 35 seats among 70 candidates in the first round in the governorates of the first phase of the House of Representatives elections.
