The supervision departments of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade launched In Alexandria In partnership with the rest of the sub-departments, intensive campaigns were carried out during the second day of Eid Al-Fitr to control the markets and ensure that support reaches those who deserve it.

Details of the campaigns of the Supply Directorate in Alexandria

The directorate explained that municipal bakeries were visited and monitored to produce and sell local bread supported by the specifications set by the ministry, including weights and technical specifications, noting the ease of citizens obtaining bread without crowding or overcrowding.

She pointed out that they also visited butane warehouses, made sure that the specific prices were announced, and followed up on the distribution vehicles and their spread.

In the same context, the regulatory agencies intensified traffic to consumer complexes and ensured the availability of food and catering goods and the ease of disbursing food supplies, as today falls on the first of the month.

She added that the traffic included car fuel stations, ensuring the availability of all types of gasoline, diesel and gas, and announcing the prices of all petroleum products on offer.

It emphasized the deployment of all ration inspection teams in all markets at the governorate level, especially the fish and salted fish markets, and to ensure that the prices of all commodities are announced and the availability of all commodities, vegetables and fruits.

The Supply Directorate announced the continuation of the work of the main operations room and sub-operations rooms in each supply department to receive any complaints from citizens and work to resolve them immediately.

For his part, Engineer Gamal Ammar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade in Alexandria, stressed the continuation of the directorate’s work during the days of Eid al-Fitr to facilitate the work of citizens and solve any obstacles they may face.
