issued Al Hilal Sudanese Club An official statement regarding the case of Hamza Moussaoui, captain of the Moroccan club Nahdet Berkane, as Al Hilal had filed a complaint with the Moroccan team with CAF due to doping for its player Hamza Moussaoui, after Nahdet Berkane qualified for the semi-finals by defeating Al Hilal in Rwanda 1-0 after a 1-1 draw in Morocco.

The Sudanese Crescent gives KAF until the end of the day to respond to its communications regarding the case of Hamza Moussaoui, the Nahdet Berkane player, before heading to the CAS court.

Al-Hilal said in its official statement: This afternoon, Al-Hilal’s lawyer, Pedro, sent a letter to the Disciplinary Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), a number of CAF officials, and a photo of the Sudanese Football Association, stating that the 48-hour deadline that he had previously set to receive a response to the following correspondence that he sent to the Continental Confederation regarding:

1/ The official complaint dated March 23, 2026 AD.

2/ The official request dated March 23, 2026 to recognize Al Hilal as a stakeholder in this case.

3/ The official reminder dated March 29, 2026 of the above demands. 4/ The last official application submitted to the CAF on March 30, 2026.

Al-Hilal called on “CAF” to take measures to prevent RS Berkane from participating in any activity that takes place under the supervision of the African Union or “FIFA” until Al-Hilal’s complaint is considered.

The lawyer indicated in his letter to “KAF” this afternoon that the “48” hour period that he specified in his last letter to receive a response to the above communications, which was specified as 48 hours, ended on April 1, 2026 AD, as KAF remained silent for 11 days and faced 4 official correspondences.

Based on the above, the lawyer indicated that Al Hilal gives CAF a final opportunity to send a detailed response to Al Hilal’s communications, ending at the end of the day, April 3, before filing the complaint supported by more than 13 documents to the International Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).
