The son of the late businessman Ahmed Bahjat was acquitted of the charge of forging his father’s divorce document from Luna Al-Maliki

Behind the scenes of the case, the claim was dropped, during the lawsuit filed by the ex-wife of the late Luna Sabri Al-Maliki, which was based on the report of a tripartite forensic committee, which called into question the authenticity of the signature attributed to the deceased.

It was proven that after the dispute was presented to the Five-Year Committee for Counterfeiting and Forgery Research, which concluded in its conclusive final report that the signature on the original divorce document was correct and confirmed by the late Dr. Ahmed Bahjat, and that the suspicion of forgery was completely eliminated.

Earlier, Cairo 24 obtained the text of the list of charges and an order to refer the ex-wife of the late businessman Ahmed Bahgat and 4 other defendants to the Criminal Court, on the grounds that they were accused of forging official and customary documents related to a company owned by the heirs of the deceased, within the framework of a complex legal scheme that aimed – according to the referral order – to control the company and take over its management in violation of the truth.

The investigation authorities charged a lawyer, the director of the Capital Egyptian Tourism Marketing Company, the ex-wife of the late businessman Ahmed Bahgat, the chairman of the board of directors of the International Marble and Granite Manufacturing Company “Dream Stone,” a member of the board of directors of the same company, and a member of the company’s board of directors.
